If you are like myself, you have totally forgotten that it’s Easter weekend. Don’t get me wrong. I knew it was coming up, but it crept up on me. I still have plenty of time to prepare, but I haven’t given it the usual holiday treatment: planning, picking up thrift store stuff that could be used, filling our living room with crafts that may or may not work as decoration. You know, behaving in the way that makes my husband fear approaching holidays.
In an effort to make a little decoration without wreaking havoc in our little apartment, I’m going to use the very cute idea below…paint samples gathered (for free!) at the hardware store, cut into egg shapes and strung into a garland.
I’m going to an Easter brunch on Sunday, where I think a garland will work splendidly…
It’s easy to make, easy to transport to Brunch and will go really well with the mandatory bunches of ranunculous I’m going to buy.
Happy Easter everyone! Have a great weekend.
Hope to see you back here on Monday.
